Employability Practitioner Level 4 Apprenticeship (18 months plus End Point Assessment)

Develop the next generation of supported employment practitioners with a programme designed specifically for the supported employment sector.

Dynamic Training is proud to be working in partnership with BASE (British Association for Supported Employment) to deliver the Level 4 Employability Practitioner Apprenticeship contextualised for supported employment services.

This programme has been designed around the skills, knowledge and behaviours required by professionals supporting people with disabilities and other barriers into sustainable employment. It aligns with recognised supported employment methodologies, the BASE Supported Employment Framework and current sector practice. Learners develop expertise in vocational profiling, employer engagement, job matching, in-work support and service improvement.

The Employability Practitioner Level 4 Apprenticeship provides a structured pathway for practitioners to:

• Improve job matching and workplace assessment practice

• 14 remote full-day workshops 
• Workplace-based learning and application 
• One-to-one coaching and progress reviews 
• E-portfolio assessment 
• Gateway and End Point Assessment preparation 

Learners remain in their role throughout the programme, applying learning directly with their own caseloads and employer partners.

We understand that many BASE members may not have worked with Dynamic Training before.

Safeguarding support officer apprenticeship: Develop staff in safeguarding and ensure an effective safeguarding culture across supported employment.

Is this programme only available to BASE members? 

This programme is being offered specifically to BASE member organisations through our partnership arrangement.

How much off-the-job training is required? 

The programme includes approximately 557 hours of off-the-job training over the 18-month duration, averaging around one day per week within paid working hours.

How is the apprenticeship assessed? 

Assessment includes vocational profiles, action plans, observations, reflective accounts, knowledge tests and an End Point Assessment consisting of a presentation, observation and knowledge test.

What progression opportunities are available? 

Successful apprentices may progress into senior practitioner, service manager, specialist IPS, quality improvement or leadership roles.
