Payment Plan Policy

Purpose Of This Policy

Dynamic Training understands that professional development is an important investment. For individuals who are self-funding an accredited training programme, paying the full course fee upfront may not always be practical.

This Payment Plan Policy explains how Dynamic Training may offer eligible individuals the option to pay for selected accredited training programmes through agreed instalments.

Our aim is to provide a transparent, fair and accessible payment option that supports learners to access high-quality training while ensuring that all payment arrangements are clearly understood from the outset.

This policy also explains the learner’s cooling-off period and their right to cancel and receive a full refund during that period.

Scope Of This Policy

This policy applies to individuals who are personally responsible for paying the fees for an accredited training programme provided by Dynamic Training.

This policy does not automatically apply to:

  • Training commissioned and paid for by an organisation.
  • Any fully funded programmes for the individuals, including apprenticeships
  • Any programme where Dynamic Training confirms that a payment plan is not available.

Where an organisation is paying for training on behalf of its staff, separate service level agreements or commercial payment terms will apply.

The cooling-off entitlement applies whether the individual pays the programme fee in full upfront or through an agreed payment plan.

Standard Payment Plan Structure

Dynamic Training’s payment plan is structured as three equal payments across the duration of the programme.

The three payments are usually due at the following stages:

  • First payment – at the start of the programme, before or at enrolment.
  • Second payment – at the midpoint of the programme.
  • Third payment – near the end of the programme, before completion and certification.

Each payment will be for one third of the total programme fee.

For example, where a programme fee is £900 + VAT, the learner would pay:

Payment Stage

Start of programme

Midpoint of programme

Before completion

Payment Due

First payment

Second payment

Final payment

Example Amount

£300 + VAT

The exact payment dates will be confirmed in writing before the payment plan begins.

Payment Schedule

Before the learner starts their programme, Dynamic Training will provide a written payment schedule.

The payment schedule will confirm:

  • The total programme fee.
  • The amount of each payment.
  • The date each payment is due.
  • The payment method.
  • The final payment deadline.
  • The learner’s responsibility to pay all fees.
  • The learner’s right to cancel during the cooling-off period and receive a full refund.
  • How the cooling-off period is calculated and how to submit a cancellation request.
  • Confirmation that no further instalments are payable where the learner cancels within the cooling-off period.

The payment plan must be agreed before the learner begins the programme.

Cooling-Off Period and Right to Cancel

Dynamic Training provides a 14-calendar-day cooling-off period during which a learner may cancel their purchase for any reason and receive a full refund of all payments made towards that purchase.

The cooling-off period begins on the date of the learner’s first coaching session with their Skills Development Coach at Dynamic Training. The date of that session counts as day one, and the cooling-off period ends at the end of the fourteenth calendar day. Dynamic Training will confirm these dates to the learner in writing.

Learners may also cancel their purchase before their first coaching session and receive a full refund of any payments already made.

To exercise this right, the learner must notify Dynamic Training that they wish to cancel before the cooling-off period ends. Notification may be given verbally or in writing to their Skills Development Coach or Dynamic Training’s administration team. Learners are encouraged to cancel in writing so that they have a record of their request, but this is not a condition of cancellation.

Where a learner cancels within this period:

  • Dynamic Training will cancel the purchase and any associated payment plan.
  • All payments already made towards the purchase will be refunded in full, including any VAT paid.
  • No further instalments or outstanding programme fees will be payable for the cancelled purchase.
  • No cancellation fee or deduction will be made for coaching, administration or other services already provided.
  • Dynamic Training will confirm the cancellation in writing and issue the refund within 14 calendar days of receiving the cancellation request, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed with the learner.

The date Dynamic Training receives the cancellation request will determine whether it falls within the cooling-off period. Any delay in processing the request will not affect the learner’s entitlement to cancellation and a full refund.

After the cooling-off period ends, the provisions in the “Cancellation, Withdrawal or Non-Completion” section apply, subject to the learner’s statutory rights.

This cooling-off provision is an additional contractual entitlement. It does not replace or restrict any statutory cancellation rights or other consumer rights.

Learner Responsibility for Payment

By entering into a payment plan, the learner agrees to pay the full programme fee.

The learner remains responsible for all payments under the agreed payment plan, even if they:

  • Choose to leave the programme.
  • Stop attending sessions.
  • Do not complete the required work.
  • Do not achieve the qualification.
  • Are withdrawn from the programme.
  • Are unable to continue for any reason.

The payment responsibilities in this section are subject to the learner’s cooling-off entitlement and statutory rights. A learner who cancels before their first coaching session or within the 14-calendar-day cooling-off period will receive a full refund of all payments made and will not be liable for any remaining instalments.

After the cooling-off period has ended, leaving the programme does not automatically cancel the learner’s payment obligations. Any remaining liability will be determined by the agreed cancellation terms, subject to applicable consumer law and the learner’s statutory rights.  This is because Dynamic Training commits resources, teaching, assessment, administration and support once the learner is enrolled.

Cancellation, Withdrawal or Non-Completion

A learner who cancels before their first coaching session or within the 14-calendar-day cooling-off period is entitled to a full refund of payments already made and cancellation of all remaining instalments, as set out in the “Cooling-Off Period and Right to Cancel” section.

Where a learner cancels, withdraws or does not complete the programme after the cooling-off period, any fees payable will be determined by the agreed cancellation terms, subject to applicable consumer law and the learner’s statutory rights.

Dynamic Training will confirm in writing any outstanding amount payable and the basis on which it has been calculated. Any payments properly due will remain payable on the agreed dates unless a revised arrangement is confirmed in writing.

Final Payment and Certification

The final payment must be received before programme completion and before any accredited certificate is released.

Dynamic Training will withhold accredited certificates until the full programme fee has been paid.

Certificates, completion confirmation or related documents will not be issued while any payment remains outstanding.

Once the final payment has been received and all programme requirements have been met, certification will be processed in line with the awarding organisation’s requirements and timescales.

Late Or Missed Payments

The learner is responsible for making each payment by the agreed due date.

This section does not apply to instalments cancelled under the cooling-off provision. No payment recovery action will be taken in respect of those cancelled instalments.

If a payment is late or missed, Dynamic Training may:

  • Contact the learner to request payment.
  • Pause access to teaching, assessment, resources or learner support.
  • Withhold assessment outcomes, certificates or completion documents.
  • Require immediate payment of the outstanding balance.
  • Withdraw the learner from the programme.
  • Take action to recover unpaid fees, where appropriate.

Dynamic Training will aim to communicate clearly and fairly with learners where payment issues arise.

Changes to a Payment Plan

Dynamic Training’s standard payment plan is based on three equal payments across the duration of the programme.

Any request to change the agreed payment schedule must be made in writing.

Dynamic Training is not required to agree to changes to the payment plan. Any change will only apply if it has been confirmed in writing by Dynamic Training.

Data Protection

Dynamic Training will handle personal information provided as part of the payment plan process in line with applicable data protection legislation and Dynamic Training’s privacy policies. Please see Dynamic Training Policies as per below:

Agreement to the Payment Plan

Before a payment plan begins, the learner must confirm that they understand and accept the payment terms.

This may be completed through a signed payment plan agreement, electronic confirmation or another written method approved by Dynamic Training.

By agreeing to the payment plan, the learner confirms that they understand:

  • The programme fee is split into three equal payments.
  • Payments are due at the start, midpoint and near the end of the programme.
  • Their responsibility for programme fees is subject to the cooling-off provision, the agreed cancellation terms and their statutory rights.
  • Accredited certificates will be withheld until the final payment has been received.
  • They have a 14-calendar-day cooling-off period starting on the date of their first coaching session with their Skills Development Coach.
  • They may cancel before that session or within the cooling-off period for a full refund, with no remaining instalments payable.
